Have you seen those typical sad movies?
Where there is a dog and his owner.
They have the best time of their lives for a while.
But some unfortunate event happens.
Like the dog runs away, gets stolen, or something.
Or the original, the owner is forced to leave the poor dog at the park.
Just so somebody else could pick them up.
Basically leaving the poor dog there.
And that dog you used to love and play with and whatever else sits there.
Tongue out, tail wagging, and sitting down.
So happy, ready to fetch whatever you throw, ready to play tug-of-war, or anything else.
But the owner leaves the dog, without saying goodbye?
And the dog just sits there, and waits, and waits, and waits, and waits just hoping the owner would come back.
Ha, poor doggy.
